Products from Mito Red Light
Mito Red Light is the light therapy brand of Mito Red Light, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona, founded in 2018 by Scott and Kayleigh Chaverri; earlier filings carry the name Mito Red Light, Inc. Its range is four panel lines in several sizes each: the two-wavelength 2.0 series (MitoMIN, MitoMID, MitoMAX and MitoMEGA), the four-wavelength MitoPRO+, the six-wavelength MitoPRO X with a touchscreen and app, and the eight-wavelength MitoADAPT 4.0 with 11 modes. It also sells the MitoPRO Mobile handheld, the MitoQUAD belt, the MitoPOD full-body pod, the MitoGLOW face mask, a near-infrared helmet, an intranasal device and skincare.
No Mito device has a 510(k) of its own. Mito’s “FDA Class II registered” describes an establishment registration and device listings under product code ILY, which needs no premarket review, and the MitoGLOW mask it sells as cleared is listed under K221775, a Light Tree Ventures Europe clearance for other masks. What Mito does hold is third-party safety listings on finished products: Intertek lists the MitoPRO X, MitoPRO+ and 2.0 panels, and UL lists the MitoPRO X and MitoADAPT 4.0 panels, the MitoPOD and the MitoQUAD. Mito also publishes irradiance reports it commissions from LightLab International, an ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory, whose grid averages at 6 inches run from 38.2 to 57.3 mW/cm2 against the 115 to 170 printed on its product pages from a solar meter.
On mitoredlight.com the panels list from $249 for the MitoMIN 2.0 to $1,499 for the MitoADAPT MAX 4.0, the MitoPRO Mobile and MitoQUAD at $349, the MitoGLOW at $499 and the MitoPOD at $1,699. The MitoPRO X, MitoPRO+ and MitoADAPT panels carry 3 years of warranty, the 2.0 panels and the MitoPRO Mobile 2 years, and the pod, belt and mask 1 year; warranty service is a replacement rather than a repair, and Mito pays the shipping label for the first 180 days. Every device has a 60-day return with no restocking fee, but the buyer pays return shipping unless a returns add-on was bought at checkout. In February 2025 Mito began a recall of its discontinued Mito Mobile Super after a battery fire while charging; FDA classified it Class 2 in June 2026, and Mito offers a MitoPRO Mobile or a refund.
Trustpilot rates mitoredlight.com 4.4 from 1,076 reviews, which Mito invites, with 76 percent five-star against 9 percent one-star and replies to 99 percent of negative reviews, and the BBB rates Mito Red Light A, accredited since September 2021. Owners on Reddit praise the metal build of the panels and several report panels still running after two to five years; the complaints center on support beyond the written warranty, missing usage guidance and, on the MitoGLOW, pressure around the eyes. On Amazon only the 2.0 panels are sold, the MitoMIN 2.0 at 4.5 from 170 ratings, and Mito’s Best Buy listings carry its own reviews syndicated from mitoredlight.com.
