Six Peaks and a Touchscreen, Well Under the Claimed Output

The MitoPRO 300X is Mito's smallest six-wavelength panel, sized for the face, neck or one joint at a time, and at $449 it is $80 more than the four-wavelength MitoPRO 300+. Light Therapy Insiders, which earns a commission on Mito sales and was sent the unit free, measured 51.8 mW/cm2 averaged over nine points at 6 inches, against the more than 130 Mito prints from a solar meter. Mito's own lab report, commissioned from LightLab International in September 2025, puts the grid average lower still, at 38.2. Intertek lists the finished panel for electrical safety and UL lists it as medical equipment, but it has no 510(k): Mito's "FDA Class II registered" is an exempt device listing. Mito publishes the wall draw and the fans but names no housing material. The trade is a stand in the box and app control against a small face and output well below the headline number.

PROS
  • Measured 51.8 mW/cm2 at 6 in by Light Therapy Insiders
  • Six published peaks with per-wavelength shares and a lab spectrum
  • ETL listing and UL listing on the finished panel
  • Tabletop stand and goggles included
  • 3-year warranty and 60-day return with no restocking fee
CONS
  • Claimed >130 mW/cm2 is a solar-meter figure; Mito's lab average is 38.2
  • No 510(k); "FDA Class II registered" is an exempt listing
  • No housing material published
  • 137 sq in face covers one area at a time
  • Buyer pays return shipping unless Mito's returns add-on was bought

The MitoPRO 300X is the tabletop size of Mito's MitoPRO X series: a 9.5 x 14.5 in panel, 7 lb, with 60 dual-chip LEDs across six peaks at 590, 630, 660, 810, 830 and 850 nm, and a touchscreen with Bluetooth app control. It draws 125 W, runs red, near-infrared or both, and ships with a tabletop stand attached and goggles. Mito states more than 130 mW/cm2 at 6 in on a solar meter and more than 56 on a spectroradiometer.

Brand-level

Mito Red Light, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona sells direct from mitoredlight.com, and on Amazon only its 2.0 panels. Its Trustpilot profile reads 4.4 from 1,076 reviews, which Mito invites, split 76 percent five-star against 9 percent one-star, and it replies to 99 percent of negative reviews; the BBB rates it A and has accredited it since September 2021. No US retailer publishes its own reviews of a Mito device: Best Buy's marketplace listings, sold under Mito's trade name MRL Horizons LLC, carry ratings syndicated from mitoredlight.com, so the retailer pool is empty at every level. Mito's one recall, of the discontinued Mito Mobile Super for a battery fire risk, does not cover this device.
