Plain Controls, Measured Output, No Stand

The MitoMID 2.0 is the middle panel of Mito's two-wavelength 2.0 series, a 171 sq in face at $449. Mito's lab report, commissioned from LightLab International in July 2023, measured a 56.8 mW/cm2 average and 75.8 peak at 6 inches, against the more than 150 on its page from a solar meter, and no independent tester has published a figure. Intertek lists the finished panel for electrical safety; there is no 510(k). On Amazon it holds 4.6 from 61 ratings, and owners there and on Reddit mention a metal body and quiet fans but keep asking how to raise it without a $139 stand. It covers 171 sq in against the MitoPRO 750X's 230, and gives up that panel's app and four extra wavelengths for $300 less. The warranty is 2 years.

The MitoMID 2.0 is the half-body panel of Mito's two-wavelength 2.0 series: 19 x 9 x 3 in, 9 lb, with 100 LEDs split equally between 660 and 850 nm. It draws 150 W, has fans and a 1 to 20 minute digital timer, and ships with a door hook and steel cables. Mito states more than 150 mW/cm2 at 6 in on a solar meter.

Brand-level

Mito Red Light, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona sells direct from mitoredlight.com, and on Amazon only its 2.0 panels. Its Trustpilot profile reads 4.4 from 1,076 reviews, which Mito invites, split 76 percent five-star against 9 percent one-star, and it replies to 99 percent of negative reviews; the BBB rates it A and has accredited it since September 2021. No US retailer publishes its own reviews of a Mito device: Best Buy's marketplace listings, sold under Mito's trade name MRL Horizons LLC, carry ratings syndicated from mitoredlight.com, so the retailer pool is empty at every level. Mito's one recall, of the discontinued Mito Mobile Super for a battery fire risk, does not cover this device.
