Mito's Cheapest Panel Out-Measures Its Newer Tabletops

The MitoMIN 2.0 is Mito's entry panel, two wavelengths on a 108 sq in face at $249. Mito's lab report, commissioned from LightLab International in May 2023, measured a 54.6 mW/cm2 average and 69.6 peak at 6 inches, higher than the 2025 lab averages for the MitoPRO 300X, the 300+ and the MitoADAPT MIN, which cost $120 to $300 more. Intertek lists the finished panel for electrical safety; there is no 510(k). It is also the only Mito panel with a large independent review file: 4.5 from 170 ratings on Amazon, where quality and value are tagged positive almost without exception. What it lacks is choice, with two wavelengths, no app and a 2-year warranty against 3 years on Mito's newer lines. For one area at a time, it is the least expensive way to buy Mito's measured output.

PROS
  • Lab-measured 54.6 mW/cm2 average at 6 in, report published
  • ETL listing on the finished panel
  • 4.5 from 170 ratings on Amazon
  • Kickstand and 1 to 20 minute timer
  • $249, the lowest price in Mito's range
CONS
  • Two wavelengths only, 660 and 850 nm
  • 2-year warranty, against 3 on Mito's newer lines
  • No 510(k); "FDA Class II registered" is an exempt listing
  • Claimed >115 mW/cm2 is a solar-meter figure
  • Mito lists it at both 6 and 7 lb

The MitoMIN 2.0 is the smallest panel in Mito's two-wavelength 2.0 series: 12 x 9 x 3 in, 6 lb, with 60 LEDs split equally between 660 and 850 nm. It draws 85 W, has a fan, a built-in kickstand and a 1 to 20 minute digital timer, and runs red, near-infrared or both. Mito states more than 115 mW/cm2 at 6 in on a solar meter.

Brand-level

Mito Red Light, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona sells direct from mitoredlight.com, and on Amazon only its 2.0 panels. Its Trustpilot profile reads 4.4 from 1,076 reviews, which Mito invites, split 76 percent five-star against 9 percent one-star, and it replies to 99 percent of negative reviews; the BBB rates it A and has accredited it since September 2021. No US retailer publishes its own reviews of a Mito device: Best Buy's marketplace listings, sold under Mito's trade name MRL Horizons LLC, carry ratings syndicated from mitoredlight.com, so the retailer pool is empty at every level. Mito's one recall, of the discontinued Mito Mobile Super for a battery fire risk, does not cover this device.
