The Long-Runner, Rebuilt Wider and Measured Lower

The MitoPRO 1500+ is the full-body panel of Mito's longest-running line, rebuilt in 2025 as a 12 x 36 in v2 with four wavelengths and no app, at $1,169. Mito's lab report, commissioned from LightLab International in September 2025, gives the v2 a 56.8 mW/cm2 average and 68.2 peak at 6 inches, against more than 170 on its page from a solar meter. Light Therapy Insiders, which earns a commission on Mito sales, measured 76.5 on the earlier 42 x 10 in build in August 2024, so that figure predates the panel on sale. Intertek lists the finished panel; there is no 510(k). Reviewers fault the basic controls, with no pulsing, dimming or touchscreen, and the lack of an 810 nm channel. It costs $130 less than the six-wavelength 1500X for a face of the same size.

The MitoPRO 1500+ (v2) is the full-body size of Mito's four-wavelength MitoPRO+ series: a 12 x 36 in panel, 22 lb, with 300 LEDs split equally across 630, 660, 830 and 850 nm. Mito lists 375 W, and its lab measured 373.2 W at the wall. It runs from a button panel or remote with a timer and ships with a door hook and steel cables.

Few owner reports name the 1500+. In March 2026 an unpaid buyer of a 1000+ and 1500+ pair reported well-protected packaging, the two panels arriving from different warehouses a day apart, a solid build, and a horizontal stand setup that took two people. In January 2025 a buyer of a Black Friday 1500+ said the order was back-ordered until late December, and a second owner of the same panel reported two months of use without problems.

Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus, August 2024) earns affiliate commission on Mito sales and ran the only hands-on spectrometer test found: peaks at 630, 660, about 833 and 855 nm, and 76.5 mW/cm2 average and 87 peak at 6 inches, ranking the panel 7th of 34 wall panels on average output and 7th on value per optical watt. That unit was the earlier 42 x 10 in build, not the 12 x 36 in v2. His cons were little change from the original MitoPRO 1500 beyond a remote, no pulsing, dimming or touchscreen, no 810 nm and a narrow panel; other written reviews restate specifications or give figures that conflict with Mito's own lab data.

The main video is Alex Fergus's Light Therapy Insiders review (December 2023), in which he says on camera that he is affiliated with Mito and earns commission through his code. His spectrometer confirmed the four listed wavelengths and measured 76.5 mW/cm2 average at 6 inches and 52 dB of noise; he called the new remote tactile but the upgrade small otherwise. The unit shown was the earlier 42 x 10 in build. Shervin Shares Reviews (November 2025, 648 views, Amazon affiliate links) reads out specifications without measuring anything.

Mito sells only its two-wavelength 2.0 panels on Amazon US, through its own Mito Red Light Official store; no MitoPRO X, MitoPRO+ or MitoADAPT panel has a rated listing there, and a MitoPRO+ listing added in June 2026 has no ratings. The MitoMIN 2.0 holds 4.5 from 170 ratings, split 78 percent five-star against 3 percent one-star, and Amazon tags its quality in 30 reviews, 29 of them positive. The MitoMID 2.0 holds 4.6 from 61 and the MitoMEGA 2.0 4.9 from 19. Those are simpler 660 and 850 nm panels, so the figures describe the brand rather than this series.

Mito Red Light, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona sells direct from mitoredlight.com, and on Amazon only its 2.0 panels. Its Trustpilot profile reads 4.4 from 1,076 reviews, which Mito invites, split 76 percent five-star against 9 percent one-star, and it replies to 99 percent of negative reviews; the BBB rates it A and has accredited it since September 2021. No US retailer publishes its own reviews of a Mito device: Best Buy's marketplace listings, sold under Mito's trade name MRL Horizons LLC, carry ratings syndicated from mitoredlight.com, so the retailer pool is empty at every level. Mito's one recall, of the discontinued Mito Mobile Super for a battery fire risk, does not cover this device.
