The PRO1500 is Hooga's full-length dual-chip panel, a 310 sq in face with 300 LEDs at 660 and 850 nm, a digital timer and a control panel for red, near-infrared or both, at $1,199 with a door mount, hanging kit and linking cord. Light Therapy Insiders, which earns commission from Hooga and from rival brands, measured it in 2023 at 86 mW/cm2 averaged over nine points at 6 in and 96 at peak on a spectrometer, against the 189 Hooga states, with 150 W of total light and 0.16 µT against a claimed zero. That unit had two switches and no timer or control panel, so the reading describes an earlier build and output is not scored. Hooga lists UL files for the PRO line's drivers and cords, which are components; the finished panel has no UL or ETL listing and no 510(k). On Amazon it reads 4.3 from 21 ratings, 73 percent five-star against 13 percent one-star. The warranty is 3 years.

The Hooga PRO1500 is the full-length panel in Hooga's dual-chip PRO line: 36 x 8.6 x 3.1 in and about 21 lb, with 300 dual-chip 5 W LEDs at 660 and 850 nm, several fans, a built-in digital timer of 5, 10 or 15 minutes and a control panel for red, near-infrared or both. Hooga rates it at 1,500 W of LED class and 530 W of power consumption, with 218 mW/cm2 at 3 in and 189 at 6 in, and says the PRO line's drivers, cords and wiring are UL listed components. The manual suggests 2 to 3 minutes at 18 in for surface use and 6 to 10 minutes at 6 to 12 in. The $1,199 price includes a door mount, a hanging kit with an adjustable pulley, a series-linking cord and goggles; the Compact 1500/750 Stand is $199, the vertical or horizontal stand $299 and a wall mount $49. It links with other PRO panels on a stand.

One Reddit owner reports on the PRO1500 itself. In December 2025 an r/redlighttherapy poster who bought it with Hooga's horizontal stand in the Black Friday sale, paying $1,150, said it works well, the stand has room for a second panel, and the light does not reach his feet. In March 2026 he said he still liked it and planned to add an ULTRA1500 to the same stand. Shoppers comparing it with the ULTRA1500 (July 2025) and the HG1500 (January 2025) noted the PRO's flicker-free driver and higher rated output. One reply said the ULTRA's control panel and quieter running were worth the extra cost. No Reddit report of a failure, fan problem or warranty claim names the PRO1500.

Two written pieces cover the PRO1500, and both earn money from Hooga. Light Therapy Insiders earns commission on Hooga sales through its ALEX code, and the same page carries Mito and PlatinumLED links. Its November 2023 review covered the earlier build, which had two switches and no timer. It measured 86 mW/cm2 on average and 96 at peak at 6 inches, against Hooga's claim of 189. It also measured 150 W of total light, 50.5 dB and 0.16 µT. It called the panel exceptional value at $7.50 per watt and faulted the missing timer, dimming and control panel. Hooga's current page lists a timer and control panel that this test does not cover. JointLabPro (July 2026), whose links carry a Hooga referral that takes 12 percent off, ranked it the best of Hooga's three 1500-size panels using Hooga's own figures. It criticised only the two wavelengths and the lack of pulsing and dimming.

Both videos come from Alex Fergus of Light Therapy Insiders. His descriptions carry a Hooga discount link that pays him commission, alongside Mito and Rouge codes, and both videos show the earlier build with two master switches and no timer. In his May 2023 review (7 minutes, about 11,000 views) he measured 86 mW/cm2 on average and 96 at peak at 6 inches, with output close to even across the panel. He also recorded 50.5 dB and an EMF reading he called disappointing. He rated the panel strong value but faulted the lack of a timer, dimming and extra wavelengths. In his August 2023 comparison (5 minutes, about 3,200 views) he ranked the PRO1500 below the Rouge G3 Pro, mainly because the Hooga is only 9 inches wide.

The PRO1500 is one of three sizes in an Amazon variation family, but each size has its own review file. This ASIN reads 4.3 from 21 ratings, against 4.3 from 18 for the PRO750 and 4.6 from 772 for the PRO300. Its ratings split at both ends: 73 percent five-star and 14 percent four-star against 13 percent one-star, with nothing in between. Amazon shows no Customers say summary for a file this small, and none of the reviews shown on the listing is critical. The reviews run from February 2022 to January 2026, so they span the switch-only build and the timer build. Two owners called it solidly built and one called it heavy. One said installation was easy and one liked the separate red and near-infrared switches. One said it knocked against the door it hung on until she braced it.

Hooga is the trading name of Commerce Trading Group, LLC of New Berlin, Wisconsin, which sells direct from hoogahealth.com and through its own Amazon store; no major US retailer carries a Hooga device, so the retailer pool is empty at every level. Its Trustpilot profile reads 4.5 from 75 reviews, 80 percent five-star against 12 percent one-star. Hooga claimed the profile in January 2026 and has invited reviews since: seven of the 14 reviews written before the claim are one-star, against two of the 58 written since, and Hooga has answered every negative review. The recurring complaints there are return shipping charged to the buyer even on faulty units, pre-orders charged weeks before shipping, and support that answers first with an AI agent. The BBB rates Hooga B+ without accreditation, on a file opened in April 2026 with one complaint, resolved, and no Hooga device has been recalled.
