Few owner reports name the 1500+.
In March 2026 an unpaid buyer of a 1000+ and 1500+ pair reported well-protected packaging, the two panels arriving from different warehouses a day apart, a solid build, and a horizontal stand setup that took two people.
In January 2025 a buyer of a Black Friday 1500+ said the order was back-ordered until late December, and a second owner of the same panel reported two months of use without problems.
HoogaHG1500
Only one Reddit owner report names the HG1500, and it is positive: in October 2025 an r/redlighttherapy owner said two people use it daily on four zones each, called it "a monster" that has held up very well, and said it had the best specs and size for the price.
In January 2025 a shopper who saw different faceplate colours on Hooga's site and on eBay was told by Hooga that two versions exist.
No fan, LED-failure or warranty report names the HG1500.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoPRO 1500+
Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus, August 2024) earns affiliate commission on Mito sales and ran the only hands-on spectrometer test found: peaks at 630, 660, about 833 and 855 nm, and 76.5 mW/cm2 average and 87 peak at 6 inches, ranking the panel 7th of 34 wall panels on average output and 7th on value per optical watt.
That unit was the earlier 42 x 10 in build, not the 12 x 36 in v2.
His cons were little change from the original MitoPRO 1500 beyond a remote, no pulsing, dimming or touchscreen, no 810 nm and a narrow panel; other written reviews restate specifications or give figures that conflict with Mito's own lab data.
HoogaHG1500
Written coverage is of the HG series and its HG300 rather than the HG1500 itself.
Light Therapy Insiders, which earns commission through a Hooga discount link placed beside links for Mito and PlatinumLED, wrote in November 2023 that the HG1500 lacks the PRO's dual-chip LEDs and modular connection and that the basic panel has some flicker, while calling it strong value on a serious budget.
Wareable (April 2026), which earns affiliate commission, used an HG300 and rated it 4.0 out of 5: solid iron housing and simple controls, fan noise it called present rather than disruptive, moderate heat, and no smart features.

The main video is Alex Fergus's Light Therapy Insiders review (December 2023), in which he says on camera that he is affiliated with Mito and earns commission through his code.
His spectrometer confirmed the four listed wavelengths and measured 76.5 mW/cm2 average at 6 inches and 52 dB of noise; he called the new remote tactile but the upgrade small otherwise.
The unit shown was the earlier 42 x 10 in build.
Shervin Shares Reviews (November 2025, 648 views, Amazon affiliate links) reads out specifications without measuring anything.
HoogaHG1500
One video reviews the HG1500 itself, and it is dated.
BrazenJello Reviews (December 2020, about 10,800 views), whose description carries an Amazon affiliate link and a commission disclosure, showed a unit bought a month earlier hanging securely on a door from an adjustable pulley, with separate red and near-infrared switches.
That panel had no built-in timer, so the owner timed sessions with a smart speaker; the current HG1500 lists one.
Alex Fergus's April 2026 series comparison carries YouTube's paid-promotion label.
In it he says the products were provided free, and he links a Hooga discount beside codes for Rouge, Mito, PlatinumLED and Block Blue Light.
He said the whole HG series uses single-chip LEDs that flicker, has basic switches and cannot take Hooga's larger stands.

Mito sells only its two-wavelength 2.0 panels on Amazon US, through its own Mito Red Light Official store; no MitoPRO X, MitoPRO+ or MitoADAPT panel has a rated listing there, and a MitoPRO+ listing added in June 2026 has no ratings.
The MitoMIN 2.0 holds 4.5 from 170 ratings, split 78 percent five-star against 3 percent one-star, and Amazon tags its quality in 30 reviews, 29 of them positive.
The MitoMID 2.0 holds 4.6 from 61 and the MitoMEGA 2.0 4.9 from 19.
Those are simpler 660 and 850 nm panels, so the figures describe the brand rather than this series.
HoogaHG1500
Amazon US sells the HG1500 as the 300-LED size of a four-size HG variation family, sold by Hooga Health and shipped by Amazon.
The family shares one review file: the HG300, HG500, HG1000 and HG1500 pages all show 4.6 from 1,375 ratings, the same star split and the same aspect tags.
The file does not separate the sizes, so none of it can be tied to the 300-LED panel.
The file also dates from October 2019, before Hooga's hardware revisions.
The split runs 81 percent five-star against a 5 percent one-star tail.
All of Amazon's tags are positive; the ones about the hardware are quality (187 mentions), value for money (93), build quality (76) and brightness (52).
