The MitoADAPT MID 4.0 is the half-body panel of Mito's eight-wavelength series, a 324 sq in face at $999. Its output has not been measured: Mito's LightLab test was still pending in April 2026 and no reviewer has tested this size, so the more than 130 mW/cm2 on the page is a solar-meter claim. The one independent spectrometer test in the series, on the MAX, averaged 58 mW/cm2 and found the amber peak at 599 nm rather than 590. UL lists the finished panel as general medical equipment; there is no 510(k) and no ETL listing for the 4.0. New owners on Reddit mostly ask which of the 11 modes to use. Against the MAX it gives up 108 sq in of face for $500 less.
- UL listing on the finished panel
- Eight published peaks with per-wavelength shares
- Door hook, steel cables and straps included
- Touchscreen and app, 11 modes
- 3-year warranty and 60-day return with no restocking fee
- No measured output for this size
- Claimed >130 mW/cm2 is a solar-meter figure
- No 510(k), and no ETL listing covers the 4.0 despite the claim
- Unclear mode guidance, per new owners
- No housing material published
The MitoADAPT MID 4.0 is the half-body size of the MitoADAPT 4.0 series: a 12 x 27 in panel, 19 lb, with 216 dual-chip LEDs at eight peaks from 590 to 940 nm on separate circuits, giving 11 modes. It draws 310 W, runs from a touchscreen or Bluetooth app, and ships with a door hook, steel cables and straps. Mito states more than 130 mW/cm2 at 6 in on a solar meter.
