Bon Charge is the trading name of BLUblox Pty Ltd of Osborne Park, Western Australia, founded in 2017 as BLUblox by Andy and Katie Mant to sell blue-light glasses and renamed Bon Charge in 2022. It does not make its light devices: FDA’s device records name Sunglor Technology Co., Ltd. of Shenzhen as the maker of its panels, Mini handheld, blanket and both masks, and Light Tree Ventures Europe B.V. of The Hague as the maker of its cap. It sells direct from boncharge.com and ships US orders from abroad.
Three Bon Charge devices are tied to 510(k) clearances held by their makers rather than by Bon Charge: the face mask to Sunglor’s K253086 and the neck and chest mask to Sunglor’s K253073, both cleared late in 2025, and the Red Light Cap to Light Tree’s K253349, cleared in December 2025. The panels, Mini and blanket are listed under BLUblox’s FDA registration as exempt devices, and the Bullet and Face Wand appear only in FDA’s device identifier database. Neither Intertek’s nor UL’s directory lists a Bon Charge device. Light Therapy Insiders, a market-wide tester that has held a Bon Charge code, measured the first-generation Hive Max panel at 31 mW/cm2 averaged at 6 inches and ranked it last of 17 panels in 2024; no comparable reading of the current panels has been published.
The ten Bon Charge light devices compared here run on boncharge.com from $149 for the Face Wand to $1,999 for the blanket: the Demi, Max and Super Max panels at $699, $999 and $1,599, the Mini and Bullet handhelds at $299 and $199, the face mask and the neck and chest mask at $349 each, and the Red Light Cap at $449. Bon Charge also sells PEMF mats and a PEMF wrap, an infrared sauna blanket and sauna dome, a red light toothbrush and the blue-light glasses it began with. Every light device carries a 1-year warranty, two years in the EU, with claims shipped to Western Australia at the buyer’s cost, and items may be returned within 30 days; orders bought with a code of 25 percent or more are refunded in store credit or exchanged.
Bon Charge holds 3.7 from 1,659 Trustpilot reviews under its blublox.com profile, with 73 percent five-star against 21 percent one-star in October 2026. Amazon US sells no Bon Charge light device and no US retailer carries one with a review file of its own, the BBB holds no file on the company, and FDA’s recall and adverse-event databases hold no Bon Charge entry. King v. Bon Charge, a federal class action filed in Delaware in January 2025, concerns its marketing text messages.
