What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMIN 2.0
Three r/redlighttherapy owners name the MitoMIN 2.0 between March 2024 and November 2025: one says they love it so far as a first panel bought on sale, one uses it nightly on the red-only setting, and one found it blindingly bright even with goggles on.
No owner reported a failed fan, timer or LED, and no warranty claim turned up.
In shopping threads (April 2025, January 2026), commenters who bought the Hooga Ultra 360 instead pointed to the MitoMIN 2.0's fewer LEDs and two wavelengths.
HoogaHG300
About eight Reddit owners name the HG300, and most praise its build.
In February 2024 an r/redlighttherapy buyer who ordered it from Amazon called it sturdy and well built, and a one-year owner said it was "not cheaply made".
In February 2025 two owners confirmed that red and near-infrared can run together, with 30 LEDs on each wavelength.
A September 2025 thread was split on noise: a new owner reported a constant buzzing whir that rose and fell, while a one-year owner called the fan strong but not noisy and two others said theirs were quiet.
In the same thread an Amazon buyer said the panel stopped working after a week and was returned within the return window.
A 2020 owner started on the HG300 and later moved to multi-wavelength panels from PlatinumLED and Mito.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMIN 2.0
The written reviews of the MitoMIN 2.0 are weak evidence: almost all come from affiliate sites that repeat Mito's specifications, and no independent spectrometer test of this model exists.
Amazon-affiliate sites (August 2026) agree it is a compact tabletop panel that covers one area at a time, with a kickstand, a 1 to 20 minute timer and a quiet fan.
Redlighttherapy.com credits Mito for printing a lab figure next to its higher solar-meter figure and calls the 2-year warranty shorter than rivals' 3, though its buy button points to a competing maker; several affiliate reviews give the wrong warranty or price.
HoogaHG300
Two written reviews test the HG300.
Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus, October 2023) earns commission from Hooga and from Mito.
On a spectrometer it measured an average of 55 mW/cm2, a peak of 69 and 23 W of total light, below the 73 Hooga claims at 6 inches.
It found 100 Hz flicker and a 51 dB fan with a "grunty whir", and faulted that 2023 unit for having no timer or stand and a cord that blocks one switch.
It also rated the $6.20 per watt of light as the best value it had measured.
Wareable (April 2026), which earns affiliate commission, tested a current unit with a kickstand and timer for over a month.
It found the iron housing solid, the fan noise "present" but not disruptive and the heat moderate, and said no glasses came in the box.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMIN 2.0
Only one small channel, Doing Light Therapy at Home, has reviewed the MitoMIN 2.0 in any depth, in a January to February 2023 series on a unit Mito sent free; the channel is a Mito affiliate with a discount code and also earns from PlatinumLED and Rouge.
It shows the stand attached out of the box, three light modes, a simple control panel and a timer that remembers the last session length, and the parts that could be read carry no measurements or criticism.
No larger or independent channel has reviewed this model.
HoogaHG300
Alex Fergus's channel has the only tested videos.
He earns commission from Hooga through a link with an auto-applied discount, as well as from rival brands.
His April 2023 review (51,496 views) repeats his blog's 69 mW/cm2 peak and calls the panel terrific value but very basic, with a sound problem and no stand.
His May 2023 comparison with the Pro (26,048 views) adds that the basic panel flickers, cannot take a stand and runs louder, with the same three-year warranty and low EMF.
Two owner videos are small.
Lindy Reviews (May 2026, 50 views), which carries an Amazon affiliate link, shows a current unit with a kickstand, a 5, 10 and 15-minute timer, goggles and a fan that keeps it from overheating.
Benjamin Jaker (November 2024, 1,066 views, no tie shown) shows the removable cord and the door-hanging kit.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMIN 2.0
Rated 4.5 from 170 ratings on Amazon US (78 percent five-star, 11 four-star, 4 three-star, 4 two-star, 3 one-star) at $249 on Mito's own listing, where the visible reviews are tagged to the MitoMIN 2.0 size.
Amazon's summary tags quality in 30 reviews (29 positive), value for money in 14, ease of use in 10 and sturdiness in 8, every one of the last three positive.
Recent reviews describe a solid metal build, straightforward controls and quiet running; the critical points are that it is heavier than expected, has no carry handle, and starts the moment the timer is set.
HoogaHG300
On Amazon US the HG300 is the 60-LED size in a single HG-series listing.
Its 1,375 ratings are shared with the 100, 200 and 300-LED sizes, and all four ASINs show the same 4.6 and the same split, so the figure describes the series rather than the HG300.
The split has two ends: 81 percent five-star against 5 percent one-star, with little in between.
The file does not separate the sizes, and a review on the HG300 page is labelled "Size: 100 LEDs".
Amazon's summary tags quality in 187 reviews (173 positive), value for money in 93 (72 positive) and build quality in 76 (73 positive).
The listing is marked non-returnable.
