Usability
4.1 out of 10It suits a van or boat roof with room for a 41 x 23 in panel and shade from racks or rigging, at a lower output per square foot than the 200 W ShadowFlux.
Strengths
- IP67 junction box and IP68 MC4 connectors
- Temperature coefficient of Pmax -0.29 percent per degree C
- Output warranted at 80 percent for 25 years in Renogy's warranty document
- 15.9 lb at 41.42 x 22.76 in
- Held 36 W with half the panel covered in Primal Outdoors' test, on panels Renogy supplied
Drawbacks
- Computed module efficiency 19.7 percentagainst 20.7 percent on the datasheet
- renogy.com's spec table calls its output warranty 5 years; the datasheet and warranty document say 25
- 33.7 V open-circuit voltage tripped an over-voltage warning on one owner's power station
- 5-year materials and workmanship coveragainst 10 years on Renogy's standard N-type rigid panels
- No UL 61730 claimthe datasheet lists CE, UKCA and RCM only

Renogy is the brand of RNG International, Inc., of Ontario, California, which Dr. Yi Li founded in 2010.
It sells direct from renogy.com and its Amazon and eBay brand stores, and through Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy, Camping World and Walmart's marketplace.
The Renogy ShadowFlux 120W (RSP120DC-ASR) is a 48-cell monocrystalline N-type rigid panel with a tempered-glass front, an anodized aluminium frame and 16-busbar cells. Renogy's datasheet rates it at 120 W, 28.9 V and 4.21 A at maximum power, with a 33.7 V open-circuit voltage and a 4.57 A short-circuit current. It measures 41.42 x 22.76 x 1.18 in and weighs 15.87 lb. Renogy describes its anti-shading design as cell-level bypass technology. The junction box is rated IP67 and the MC4 connectors IP68, on 14 AWG leads of 23.6 in. Renogy's datasheet gives a temperature coefficient of Pmax of -0.29 percent per degree C and an operating range of -40 to 185 degrees F. Renogy covers materials and workmanship for 5 years and output for 25 years at 80 percent, by its datasheet and warranty document. It sells singly at $129.99, in a 2-pack at $259.99 and in a 4-pack at $493.99, and the same listing offers a 600 W 12 V ShadowFlux kit with a 5.12 kWh battery at $3,199.99.
