Narrow 100 W panel, lowest output rung

  • What it is: a narrow 100 W, 12 V TOPCon glass panel for van, camper and boat roofs with little free width
  • The trade-off: a 15.8 in width that fits between roof fixtures, but the lowest output rung and under 20 percent module efficiency
  • Not checked: Rich Solar publishes no bypass diode count
  • Look elsewhere for: more watts per panel where the roof is wide open

Strengths

  • Narrow shape for crowded roofs
  • Long output guarantee
  • Sealed junction box and connectors
  • Light for a glass panel
  • Well rated by Amazon buyers

Drawbacks

  • Low efficiency for its footprint
  • Low output for a rigid panel
  • Workmanship term differs across Rich Solar's pages
  • Longer workmanship term is prorated
  • Bypass diode count not published
