iSpring has been building residential water filtration out of Cumming, Georgia since 2005. The company sells direct rather than through distributors, and is explicit that this is the reason its reverse osmosis systems sit in the $200–400 range where comparable systems once cost $700 or more.

The line spans classic tank-based under-sink RO, tankless high-flow RO, countertop units, whole-house sediment and carbon systems, salt-free descalers, UV sterilisers, and spin-down prefilters. The RCC7 series is the best known — the RCC7AK alone carries over 15,000 Amazon ratings.

What separates iSpring from much of the budget end of the category is the certification. Their RO systems are certified to NSF/ANSI 58 as complete assemblies rather than by individual component, with published reduction figures: lead at 98.9%, TDS at 97.9%, chromium at 99.2%, asbestos above 99.7%. Many competitors certify only the filter media or the housing materials, which is a meaningfully weaker claim.

Manufacturing varies by model. Pumpless RO systems are built in Taiwan, pump-equipped systems in China, and the RO100 and PH100 are made in the USA. Support is handled from Atlanta and is offered for the life of the system, though the manufacturer warranty is one year and requires registration to activate.

The recurring criticism across owner reviews is installation. Push-to-connect fittings leak for a minority of buyers on first install, usually resolved by reseating the tubing. Owners who get past that step generally report multi-year reliability, and several long-term reports describe systems running three or more years without service beyond filter changes.

Filter cartridges use standard 10″ × 2.5″ housings, so replacements are widely available and not locked to the brand.
