The RCC7AK-UV is the most complete system in the RCC7 line, adding UV sterilisation on top of alkaline remineralization. iSpring markets it for well water and untreated sources, but its own FAQ says reverse osmosis is not recommended for microorganism removal because bacteria can grow through the membrane. Treat the UV stage as extra insurance on municipal water rather than a licence to filter pond water.

The iSpring RCC7AK-UV takes the six-stage RCC7AK and adds an 11-watt ultraviolet stage. A flow sensor switch turns the UV lamp on and off with water movement, which saves power and extends bulb life. Production stays at 75 gallons per day into a 3.2-gallon tank.

Consumables are the highest in the RCC7 line at around $112 a year, since the UV bulb needs annual replacement alongside the seven filter stages.
