- Three owner reports on r/redlighttherapy name the 1500X and all three are positive: in March 2024 one buyer called the all-metal enclosure well built and the new control panel easy to use, another reported duties shown at checkout on a DHL delivery to Canada, and in December 2024 an owner said it is bright enough that he should probably dim it.
- No failure, fan or warranty report naming the 1500X turned up.
- A May 2024 thread passes on a Mito support email giving 3.7 J/cm2 per minute at 6 inches, a brand figure rather than an owner's.
Kala Sauna Panel
- No Reddit owner names the Sauna Panel.
- Owners of Kala's Pro and Elite panels, posting in r/redlighttherapy and r/30PlusSkinCare from 2022 to 2026 with no tie shown, call the panels well made and programmable, and report weeks-long waits, an Elite and stand marked delivered that never arrived (December 2024) and refunds that needed chasing.

- It ranked the panel 5th of 17, gave full marks for Mito's published lab data and marked it down for its 10-inch width.
- LightTherapyIQ (July 2026, affiliate commission) measured nothing and notes that the Hooga PRO1500 measured higher for less money; lighttherapyreviews.com presents solar-meter readings as verified output and is not relied on.
Kala Sauna Panel

- Light Therapy Insiders (March 2024, about 10,000 views) measured a first-revision unit at 74.5 mW/cm2 average and 91 peak at 6 inches and 51.5 dB, praising the touchscreen and dimming but faulting the 10-inch width and an app less polished than rivals'.
- Mike Hanna (October 2025, 10,100 views) wanted a wider panel, finer strap adjustment and a better app, and noted the panel reached about 100 degrees F after a 10-minute session; the BIOHACK Channel (July 2024) read 68.75 mW/cm2 at 6 inches on a thermopile, which is not a spectrometer.
