What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMEGA 2.0
Two owner events on r/redlighttherapy name the MitoMEGA 2.0.
In May 2024 one owner's panel started flashing about a month after purchase, and in a December 2025 update the owner said Mito sent a new unit after an emailed video and did not ask for the old one back.
In February 2026 a poster whose panel, won in a charity auction, would not turn on said Mito offered only a 10 percent discount on a new one; that account posted the same text twice and pointed readers to competing brands, so it is weak evidence.
HoogaULTRA1500
A few r/redlighttherapy owners name the ULTRA1500, and they mostly comment on setup and delivery rather than on how the panel holds up.
In July 2025 a buyer who ordered during Hooga's sale said it arrived three days later, and a December 2024 owner who runs two of them side by side said the whole household uses them and that the owner raises and lowers them with the included pulley.
In December 2025 an owner who bought Hooga's vertical stand with a single panel said it looked far too bulky for one panel.
No failure, noise or warranty report names the ULTRA1500.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMEGA 2.0
Written coverage of the MitoMEGA 2.0 is affiliate desk work and none publishes its own measurement.
RedLightTested (March 2026, Amazon affiliate) gives it 8.2 of 10 and says it tested with a solar meter, but prints only Mito's figure and the MitoMAX 2.0's price.
Across these reviews the pluses are the 36 x 12 in coverage and Mito's published output figures, and the minuses are the 25 lb weight, no included stand and only two wavelengths at the price; two sites give the warranty as 3 years or lifetime where Mito states 2.
HoogaULTRA1500
One tester has written up the ULTRA1500 by hand.
Light Therapy Insiders, which earns commission from Hooga and also from rival brands whose codes appear in the same article (Mito, PlatinumLED, LightpathLED), averaged 81.7 mW/cm2 at 6 inches over nine points on a spectrometer, with a 104 peak.
Output fell to about 60 near the edges of the 8.6-inch-wide panel.
It measured 139 W of total light, or $9.10 per watt, plus 44.5 dB of noise and 0.2 µT at 6 inches.
The same reviewer placed the panel 4th of 17 on power and 6th overall in the 2024 comparison.
He praised the quietness, the controls and the finish.
He faulted the narrow width, the high cord exit, the coarse dimming and the single 10 Hz pulse, and said Hooga's published irradiance and dosing figures were far above his readings.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMEGA 2.0
The two clips naming the MitoMEGA 2.0 are scripted, low-view Amazon-affiliate narrations that do not show the panel in use, so they carry no evidence.
Among its siblings, Klau99 Reviews (August 2024, Amazon and AliExpress affiliate links) shows the MitoMAX 2.0 after two to three weeks with the door-hanging kit and adjustable timer, and Doing Light Therapy at Home (January 2023; unit sent free by Mito, affiliate code) walks through the MitoMIN 2.0's modes and timer.
No video measures output, heat or noise on any 2.0 panel.
HoogaULTRA1500
One channel has reviewed the ULTRA1500 hands-on.
Alex Fergus says in the video that he is affiliated with Hooga and earns commission, and his description also carries codes for Mito, PlatinumLED and LightpathLED.
His review (March 2024, about 13,400 views, 15 minutes) measured 81.7 mW/cm2 on average and 104 at peak at 6 inches with a spectrometer, plus 44.5 dB and 0.2 µT.
He liked the button panel's feel and contrast, the charcoal finish and the carry grip.
He disliked the narrow 8.6-inch width, the power cable exiting high on the back and Hooga's inflated published output.
His 17-panel comparison (February 2024) and his Top-10 power video (April 2024, about 13,700 views, labelled "Includes paid promotion") ranked it 4th on power at 82 mW/cm2.
