Owner reports on the Explorer 1000 Plus are mixed to positive: about seven owners describe it running a fridge and TV in outages and a CPAP overnight, one using 22 to 27 percent a night with solar adding 20 to 30 percent a day.
Two report faults: one unit would not charge above 400 W and its outputs failed to switch on, and its warranty replacement did the same (May 2026); another at 85 percent did nothing after three months in storage.
