Owner reports on the Explorer 1000 v2 are mostly positive: about nine owners on r/Jackery and r/SolarDIY describe it running a CPAP overnight, outages and daily solar use without trouble. One owner ran a CPAP for about 10 hours on DC with 42 percent left and found the fan noise acceptable (March 2026). Against that, a brand-new unit's relay stuck on with a burning smell and was being replaced (May 2026), and owners fault the proprietary solar ports and the app's limited battery settings.

Four written reviews test the 1000 v2. OutdoorGearLab, which buys its test units, drew 910 Wh on AC, 85 percent of rated, charged it in 1.58 hours and ranked it seventh of 14 (July 2026). TheSolarLab, which carries Jackery discount codes, found it 87.5 percent efficient at a 1,479 W load and faulted Jackery's page for listing more solar input than the 400 W it accepts. Business Insider, which earns affiliate commission, measured about 90 percent with a plug-in meter and named it best overall (July 2026); New Atlas tested it at Jackery's request.

Two channels measured the 1000 v2. ColoradoRMN, who paid for his unit, drew 920 Wh with 11 percent left (December 2024, about 7,600 views). TheSolarLab's "When Will They Learn?" (December 2024, about 317,000 views), posted under a Jackery discount code, measured 87.5 percent efficiency and criticised the solar figure on Jackery's spec page. Other high-view videos of it carry Prime Day or Jackery promotion copy.
