Owner posts on the C1000 Gen 2 run from January to July 2026. One owner reports a full AC charge in just under an hour and stable app connectivity after three months, and misses the light bar and expansion port (r/realWorldPrepping, January 2026). OutdoorGearLab, which buys its test units and earns Amazon commission, drew 890 Wh, 87 percent, weighed it at 25.2 lb and scored it 70 as its best value pick (July 2026), and faulted a loud fan near full output and the loss of the light bar and expansion port. TheSolarLab, which earns affiliate commission, found the big-box C1000X Gen 2 the same unit with one fewer AC outlet and a darker finish, and faulted the missing light.
