Heated 24 V with Victron CAN, conflicting specs

  • What it is: a 25.6 V, 150 Ah heated LiFePO4 battery in a sealed IP67 case with Victron CAN, for 24 V boats, RVs and off-grid banks
  • The trade-off: heater, Victron comms and a waterproof case, but short series strings and conflicting ratings

  • Not checked: SOK publishes no end-of-life capacity for its cycle rating
  • Look elsewhere for: a bank that mixes series and parallel strings

Strengths

  • Large capacity in one sealed case
  • Built-in heater for cold charging
  • Talks to Victron GX over CAN
  • Waterproofdustproof case
  • Alarm and relay outputs

Drawbacks

  • Ratings differ across SOK's pagespec sheet and manual

  • Series or parallelnever both
  • Middling energy per pound
