SOK Battery packs are made by Zhuhai Sepicn Electronics and Technology in Zhuhai, China, for Hocan Group Co Limited of Hong Kong, with SOK Energy Inc of Ontario, California, founded in 2019.
It sells with a cart at us.sokbattery.com, on Amazon through the SOK Battery Store as seller SOK Battery-SUNMAXENERGY, and through dealers including ShopSolar and Current Connected.
The SOK SK12V314PH is a 12.8 V, 314 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery rated 4,019 Wh on its spec sheet, built from four 314 Ah prismatic cells in a PC+ABS case sealed to IP67.
The spec sheet gives 150 A recommended and 200 A maximum charge current, 200 A continuous discharge, 800 A for 10 seconds and short-circuit protection at 1,200 A. SOK states the charge voltage three ways: 13.8 V on the product page, 14.0 V or less on the spec sheet, and 14 V charge with a 13.8 V float in the manual.
It discharges from -4 to 140°F, and a built-in heater pad lets it charge from -4 to 122°F by the product page; the manual says heating turns on below 23°F (-5°C).
It has Bluetooth 5.1 for the SOK Battery app, CAN communication with Victron GX devices or an NMEA 2000 network, RS485 between batteries, an on/off switch, an SOC light and a gas aerosol fire suppression system.
Up to 4 connect in series or 10 in parallel, never both at once, and the manual asks for a fuse rated for 2,000 A interrupting capacity within 18 in of the positive terminal. It measures 17.1 x 9.4 x 10.9 in (435 x 240 x 276 mm), weighs 67 lb and has M8 terminals torqued to 80 to 100 in-lb.
In the box, per the manual: 24 M6 screws for the mounting fittings, a 500 mm battery-to-battery communication cable and a 2,000 mm battery-to-Victron communication cable. Its page links ABYC compliance paperwork and states UL1973 and IEC62619 for the battery cells, with MSDS and UN38.3 for shipping.
It is $1,099.00 on its own product page at us.sokbattery.com.
