  • Load: up to 5,120 W of inverter load, by Vatrer's spec table
  • Charging: 200 A continuous charge; 40 A (0.2C) recommended
  • Temperature: charges and discharges from -4°F; discharge cut-off at -4°F
  • Banner: the page also claims 100% depth of discharge and a 10-year lifespan
  • Heater: runs on charge current below 32°F, stops at 41°F
  • Conflict: the page says a charger above 5 A starts the heater, the manual above 10 A
  • Expansion: up to 4P2S, 40.96 kWh
  • Claim: none on page
  • Holder search: no record
  • UN 38.3: not counted

  • What it is: a 25.6 V, 200 Ah LiFePO4 battery with a charge-powered heater and Bluetooth, for 24 V RV, van, cabin and off-grid systems
  • The trade-off: cold-weather charging and app monitoring, but no closed-loop inverter link and only two in series
  • Fit: 20.47 x 10.59 x 8.66 in and 80.69 lb, with M8 terminals and carry handles
  • Look elsewhere for: closed-loop communication with an inverter, or heating with no charger connected

  • Bluetooth app monitoring
  • High energy for its weight
  • Full-rated current for a large inverter
  • Weather-sealed case

Drawbacks

  • Heater runs only while a charger is connected

  • Overall: a handful of Reddit threads, mostly reporting Vatrer batteries working as described
  • Cabin: an r/solar owner running two 12V 100Ah units for ten months reported balanced cells and no capacity loss he could detect (about March 2026)
  • Caveats: the same owner found the app dated, with disconnects at range, and the documentation in the box sparse (about March 2026)
  • Outdoor use: in an r/SolarDIY thread on the wall battery, a reply said it is an indoor battery despite its IP65 rating, and another pointed to Will Prowse's mostly positive tests (July 2025)
  • Track record: an r/SolarDIY reply called Vatrer generally good batteries but said the record depends on the model (September 2026)

  • Vatrer Power is the brand of Shenzhen Vatrer Power Source Technology Co., Ltd., a company based in Shenzhen, China, that its own blog says was founded in 2021.
  • The VATRER trademark is registered at the USPTO to Guangdong Zhongju Power Technology Co., Ltd. of Huizhou, and no US company is named behind the brand.
  • It sells with a cart at vatrerpower.com, which also runs Canadian, European, Japanese and Australian stores.
  • In the US it also sells on Amazon through the VATRER POWER brand store and on Walmart.com as the marketplace seller VATRER POWER.

The Vatrer 24V 200Ah Self-Heating (store SKU D-24V-200AH-200A; the manual names it LiFePO4 Battery 25.6V 200Ah) is a 25.6 V, 200 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery storing 5,120 Wh.

Its BMS is rated 200 A continuous charge and discharge, with a 5,120 W maximum load, a 28.4-29.2 V charge voltage and a 40 A (0.2C) recommended charge current. Below 32°F charge current runs an internal heating film instead of charging the cells, and charging resumes once the cells pass 41°F.

The manual asks for more than 10 A of charge current to run the heater; the product page says more than 5 A. It charges from -4°F to 122°F, discharges from -4°F to 140°F and cuts off discharge at -4°F. Bluetooth links it to the Vatrer app within about 10 m.

The case is IP65 with M8 terminals and carry handles, measures 20.47 x 10.59 x 8.66 in (520 x 269 x 220 mm) and weighs 80.69 lb (36.6 kg). The manual allows two in series and up to four in parallel (4P2S, 40.96 kWh). The box holds the battery, two M8 terminals and two caps.

Vatrer sells it singly at $899.99 and in 2-, 4- and 10-packs at $1,789.99, $3,559.99 and $8,849.99.
