  • Battle Born Batteries is the brand of Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. of Reno, Nevada (Nasdaq: DFLI), a company founded in 2012.
  • Dragonfly Energy acquired the Dakota Lithium brand's assets in July 2026 and runs that brand separately from Battle Born.

It sells with a cart at battlebornbatteries.com, through dealers and installers on its dealer locator, and on Amazon US, where Amazon.com sells its 100Ah battery.

The Battle Born BB10012H is a 12.8 V, 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery built from cylindrical cells, storing 1,280 Wh, with integrated heating. Its BMS allows 100 A continuous discharge and 200 A for 30 seconds, with a maximum charge current of 50 A at 14.2 to 14.6 V and a 13.4 to 13.8 V float.

Once enabled through a female M4 heat-enable terminal, the heater starts at an internal temperature of about 35°F and draws 28 W; it discharges at -4 to 140°F.

It has an IP65 case, measures 12.76 x 6.86 x 8.95 in, weighs 31 lb and has brass flag terminals with a 3/8 in hole; the manual's Class I, Division 2 listing does not apply to the heated version.

It wires up to four in series for 48 V and without limit in parallel, and the manual calls for a current surge limiter with inverters of 3,500 W or more. The kit holds the battery, a finishing hardware kit of four 18-8 stainless 5/16-18 bolts, four washers and two Nylok nuts, and a heat-enable cable kit.

That cable kit has an SPST rocker switch, two 25 ft 18 AWG leads with quick-disconnect and ring ends, a 14 in jumper for a second heated battery, two M4 screws, a #8 ring lug and shrink wrap.

The same battery comes as the GC2 heated BBGC2H-1KIT at $999.00, and as the Smart heated BB10012iH-1KIT and GC2 Smart heated BBGC2iH-1KIT at $1,049.00 each.
