- Battle Born Batteries is the brand of Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. of Reno, Nevada (Nasdaq: DFLI), a company founded in 2012.
- Dragonfly Energy acquired the Dakota Lithium brand's assets in July 2026 and runs that brand separately from Battle Born.
It sells with a cart at battlebornbatteries.com, through dealers and installers on its dealer locator, and on Amazon US, where Amazon.com sells its 100Ah battery.
The Battle Born BB5024H-1KIT pairs the BB5024H, a 24 V, 50 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery with integrated heating, with a heat-enable cable kit. It stores 1,280 Wh at 25.6 V nominal and is sized as a drop-in for Group 27 and Group 31 trays.
Its spec table gives a 50 A maximum discharge current and 100 A for 30 seconds, while the manual's BMS section rates it at 60 A continuous; maximum charge is 25 A, with 0.5C recommended. When the heat-enable circuit is switched on, a 28 W heater warms the cells from an internal temperature of about 35°F.
Battle Born rates it for 3,000 to 5,000 cycles at 100 percent depth of discharge. It measures 12.76 x 6.86 x 8.95 in, weighs 31 lb and has brass flag terminals and an M4 heat-enable terminal in a sealed ABS case that mounts in any orientation.
Two can be wired in series for 48 V, with no limit in parallel, and it has no Bluetooth or communication port. The box holds the battery, a stainless finishing hardware kit and the heat-enable kit: a rocker switch, two 25 ft 18 AWG wires, a jumper for a second heated battery, screws, a ring lug and shrink wrap.
