Narrow 130 W panel, 65 inches long

  • What it is: a narrow 130 W, 12 V TOPCon glass panel for long strips of van, camper and boat roof
  • The trade-off: more watts in a 15.8 in width, but a 65 in length and under 20 percent module efficiency
  • Not checked: Rich Solar publishes no bypass diode count
  • Look elsewhere for: a shorter panel where the roof run is under 65 in

Strengths

  • Narrow shape for crowded roofs
  • Long output guarantee
  • Sealed junction box and connectors
  • Owners add more to their vans

Drawbacks

  • Low efficiency for its footprint
  • Long panel needs a long clear run
  • Workmanship term differs across Rich Solar's pages
  • Longer workmanship term is prorated
  • Bypass diode count not published
