Usability

6.1 out of 10

At 320 W it reaches the top rung for a rigid panel, so it scores 10 on capacity.

Its 320 W from 1.44 m² works out to 22.2 percent module efficiency, the figure Renogy's own spec table prints, so it scores 8 on efficiency.

Renogy's datasheet rates the temperature coefficient of Pmax at -0.32 percent per °C, so it scores 5 on operating range.

Renogy's datasheet and warranty schedule guarantee 80 percent of rated output at 25 years, though the product page's spec table reads a 10-year output warranty, so it scores 7 on lifespan.

Its junction box and connectors are rated IP68, with two bypass diodes and no station adapters, so it scores 3 on features.

Reddit owners mostly report Renogy's rigid panels holding up: an r/OffGrid owner has run several for more than a decade with none failed, and an r/vandwellers thread on the brand sums it up as panels fine, other gear less so. An r/VanLife owner's RSP200D lost half its voltage after about 18 months, and Renogy shipped a replacement in two weeks under the 5-year warranty; that poster is quoted on Renogy's own ShadowFlux page. An r/SolarDIY buyer of the 200 W suitcase reported a defective charge controller, two wrong replacement parts and dozens of emails before a 20 percent refund (2025).

On DIY Solar Forum an owner of four 24 V 320 W Renogy rigid panels wired in series, model not named, had two develop burn spots within a week; Renogy replaced them, and the replacements burned within four hours of sun, one smoking, with about an hour of morning shade on part of the array (May 2026).

YouTubeBrand-level6.0 out of 10

Both channels found carry a tie to the panels they review. Freedom in a Can, which passes on a 10 percent Renogy code through Renogy's affiliate link, found no delamination on two 100 W flexible panels after 9 months and 9,000 miles. Johnny's Weekends, which earns Amazon commission on the panels it links, found Renogy's 200 W flexible panel performed well but trailed a CIGS panel under shade (2023, about 128,000 views).
