Renogy is the brand of RNG International, Inc., of Ontario, California, which Dr. Yi Li founded in 2010.
It sells direct from renogy.com and its Amazon and eBay brand stores, and through Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy, Camping World and Walmart's marketplace.
The Renogy 3000W 12V Pro Pure Sine Wave Inverter with EcoSleep Mode (RIV1230P2-126) is a 3,000 W continuous inverter for 12 V battery banks with a 6,000 W surge for 100 milliseconds, an 11 to 15.5 V DC input window and 120 V AC output (plus or minus 3 percent) at 60 Hz, with under 3 percent THD into a resistive load. Renogy rates it at 90 percent or better peak and 87 percent or better full-load efficiency; its spec table gives EcoSleep no-load consumption under 10 W, and its datasheet lists a no-load current under 2.5 A. Overload capacity is 120 percent for at least 1 minute, 150 percent for 5 seconds and 200 percent for 100 milliseconds. AC output is two GFCI outlets and one hardwire (DIY) AC terminal, 3,000 W combined, plus a 5 V/2.1 A USB port. Bluetooth is built in for the DC Home app, and a 7-pin CAN port speaks RV-C to a Renogy ONE and other Renogy CAN devices; long-range monitoring runs through a Renogy ONE, sold separately. It has pre-charging and dual-polarity reverse-connection protection, two cooling fans, an IP21 rating and a noise figure under 55 dB, and the manual recommends a 400 A battery fuse. It measures 20.82 x 10.35 x 4.12 in and weighs 13.2 lb. The box holds the inverter, a wired remote on an approximately 16.4 ft cable and the manual; the datasheet adds an RJ12 cable. Renogy sells it alone at $824.99 and with a Renogy ONE Core at $839.99, and its page shows a cart price of $750.75 for the inverter alone.
