It sells direct from renogy.com and its Amazon and eBay brand stores, and through Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy, Camping World and Walmart's marketplace.
The Renogy RIV4835CSH1S is a 48 V all-in-one solar inverter charger: a 3,500 W (3,500 VA) pure sine wave inverter rated 7,000 VA peak, with an 80 A MPPT solar charge controller and a 40 A AC charger, by Renogy's manual and product page. Output is 120 VAC ±5 percent at 50 or 60 Hz, settable to 100, 105, 110 or 120 V with power derated in proportion. It runs from a 48 V battery between 40 and 60 V and starts at 44 V. The AC input takes 90 to 140 VAC with a 40 A bypass, and transfer takes 10 ms. The solar input has a 145 V recommended maximum open-circuit voltage (150 V actual), a 60 to 145 V operating range and a 60 to 115 V MPPT window at up to 50 A; the product page rates 4,400 W of PV input, the manual 4,800 W in and 4,500 W out. Solar and AC charging together reach 120 A. Renogy rates inverter efficiency above 90 percent, idle draw at 48 W and under 25 W in power-saver mode. It has an LCD with LED indicators, four charging modes (PV priority, utility priority, hybrid and solar only), three output modes, a dry-contact port, a wired-remote port and an RS485/CAN port that Renogy documents for its optional BT-2 Bluetooth module and DC Home app. It is fan-cooled, IP20 and rated 60 dB or less, and measures 426 x 322 x 124 mm (16.8 x 12.7 x 4.9 in) and weighs 23.8 lb. No battery cable is included; Renogy recommends 3 ft of 4 AWG. Renogy sells it alone at $769.99, with two 48V 50Ah batteries at $2,153.98 and with four at $3,477.98.
