The Renogy RIV1230ECH-1SS is a 12 V, 3000 W pure sine wave high-frequency inverter charger rated 3,000 W continuous at 86 °F (30 °C), with surge ratings of 6,000 W for 100 ms, 4,500 W for 3 seconds and 3,600 W for 35 seconds by Renogy's product page. It accepts 9 to 16.5 V DC (10.5 to 15.5 V at full load) and Renogy prints 91 percent peak efficiency, no-load consumption under 10 W and under 4 percent THD into a resistive load. The user manual Renogy links, the RIV1230ECH-G1 edition, gives a battery charger adjustable from 5 A to 120 A in 5 A steps with up to three-stage charging for lithium, GEL, flooded, sealed and AGM batteries, a transfer time of 20 ms or less, dry contacts for generator auto-start, a CAN communication port and RV-C support. Renogy's US page says Bluetooth is built in for the DC Home app and that a wired LCD remote shows battery and system status; the G1 manual instead calls for a separately sold BT-2 module. It measures 17.02 x 12.01 x 4.46 in (432.4 x 305 x 113.3 mm) and weighs 16.98 lb, and Renogy's FAQ says battery cables are not included. Renogy sells it at $666.99 on a page shared with its 2000 W sibling, lists a cart price of $599.99, and gave a September 30 preorder ship date.
