- In the same thread a full-timer's 3 kW inverter output terminal snapped while being wired, and an owner with a full Renogy system since 2019 says the inverter-charger trips a 20 A shore circuit and a support ticket sat open over 30 days.
- An r/solar post titled 'Avoid Renogy' reports a PUH 2000 W inverter dead on first use from bad soldering on the switch board (August 2025), and a 2020 r/vandwellers thread reported inverter-chargers whose automatic neutral-to-ground bonding circuit did not work.

- 4WDing Australia ran a Renogy 3000 W and a 2000 W UPS inverter on a lap of Australia, the 3000 W at least three times a day for more than 100 days without a fault (December 2022, updated April 2024), though a commenter's 3000 W cut out after 30 seconds at 1,700 W and was returned.
- A motorhomefun owner reports a 2000 W working well for two years (March 2023), and a VW T6 Forum owner says a 3000 W has worked flawlessly (May 2026).
- On DIY Solar Forum, an owner's 1000 W pure sine inverter blew a MOSFET at 14 months, two months out of warranty, and an installer in the same thread says his firm no longer supports Renogy over reliability and service (November 2023).

- On DIY Solar Forum an owner who bought the 12 V 3000 W from Amazon found its sine wave flattened at the tops from a 900 W load up to 2,150 W, read 117 V with no load and 115 V under load and estimated 86 percent efficiency at 70 percent load (December 2024); a second owner said Redodo's battery-type selector chart was nowhere online and had to be requested by email (January 2025).

- Solar Power Edge, which states its video is sponsored and that Renogy sent the inverter, measured 8 to 10 W idle and about 92.5 percent efficiency at 1,000 W on the 3 kW Pro, and ran over 3,500 W without a shutdown, faulting only the too-short terminal bolts (mid-2026, about 13,000 views).
- Cleversolarpower, which earns Amazon commission on the inverter it links, ran three efficiency tests on the 2000 W against a Power Queen 2000 W and warned of a cable issue and a UPS function that does not work the way buyers expect (April 2026, about 22,700 views).

- Park Hopper, which states no tie with Redodo, ran the 3000 W on a home-built 12 V bank, measured an idle draw of about 1.9 A (about 25 W), a clean sine wave on battery, about 2,600 W sustained and 45 A shore charging with pass-through, called the initial evaluation quite impressive and named the 45 A charger as the main limit (January 2025, about 1,900 views).
