Solar, shore and stacking, prorated Warranty

  • What it is: a 24 V off-grid hybrid inverter charger with a built-in MPPT and AC charging for RVs, cabins, boats and off-grid systems
  • The trade-off: broad features and stacking, but no published idle draw, 120 V from one unit and a prorated warranty

  • Solar, shore and battery in one unit
  • Fast switchover in UPS mode
  • Stacks for split or three phase
  • Closed-loop battery communication
  • Wi-Fi app monitoring

Drawbacks

  • No published idle draw

Rich Solar is the brand of Rich Solar Inc., which says it began in 2005 and keeps its offices and warehouse in Ontario, California.

It sells with a cart at richsolar.com, through a RICH SOLAR Amazon brand store run by the seller SUNRICH ENERGY, on Walmart, and through dealers such as Outbound Power.

The Rich Solar NOVA MAX 3K 2026 (model RS-H3024X) is a 24 V off-grid hybrid inverter charger that combines a pure sine wave inverter, an MPPT solar charger and an AC charger.

It is rated 3,000 VA / 3,000 W continuous and 6,000 W for 5 seconds at 120 V AC ±5%, 50 or 60 Hz, under 5 percent THD, with up to 91 percent efficiency inverting and above 95 percent in line mode. The MPPT takes up to 3,000 W of PV at 90 to 230 V, 250 V open-circuit maximum and 22 A, and starts at 80 V.

Charging tops out at 80 A from utility and solar combined, with Solar First, Solar & Utility and Only Solar modes, bulk at 29.2 V (flooded) or 28.8 V (AGM/gel), float at 27.6 V and overcharge protection at 33 V.

It works with AGM, gel, flooded and lithium batteries, with BMS communication; cold start is at 23 V and the low-DC cut-off and equalization are user-set. AC input is 120 V nominal (90 to 140 V in UPS mode, 80 to 140 V in appliance mode, 150 V maximum) with transfer in 10 ms (UPS) or 20 ms (appliances).

Up to 9 units run in parallel for single, split or three phase; communication is Wi-Fi, RS232, RS485 and CAN, with a configurable LCD. It runs from 14 to 104 °F with a temperature-controlled fan, measures 5.6 x 12.1 x 18.8 in and weighs 26.5 lb. It replaces the earlier NOVA MAX 3K (RS-H3024), now sold out.
