Rich Solar is the brand of Rich Solar Inc., which says it began in 2005 and keeps its offices and warehouse in Ontario, California.

It sells with a cart at richsolar.com, through a RICH SOLAR Amazon brand store run by the seller SUNRICH ENERGY, on Walmart, and through dealers such as Outbound Power.

The Rich Solar NOVA SUPERCHARGER 3K (model RS-V3P12C) is a 12 V pure sine wave inverter charger with a built-in transfer switch. It is rated 3,000 W continuous and 6,000 W for 5 seconds at 120, 110 or 108 V AC, 50 or 60 Hz, under 5 percent THD, with a 91 percent peak efficiency and above 85 percent at full load.

The DC side runs from the low-battery cut-off (set from 10.5 to 12.8 V) to 18.0 V and draws 288 A at full load.

Its three-stage charger is set from 5 to 150 A for LiFePO4 (with a BMS), AGM, gel and flooded batteries, charges a battery from 0 V, and is power-factor corrected above 0.98; Power Share lowers the charge current to protect a small generator or shore supply.

AC input runs 100 to 130 V, the transfer switch is rated 50 A and switches in under 20 ms, and a load search mode wakes the inverter only for loads above 25 W.

It has a GFCI, a 20 A supplementary protector, a multi-function LCD with status LEDs and four buttons, a BMS port, an ACC ignition input and a remote port for an optional remote panel.

The fan-cooled, marine-grade case is described as corrosion-resistant, vibration-tested and ABYC compliant, takes an optional drip shield, runs from -40 to 160 °F (derated above 122 °F), measures 15.4 x 12.0 x 4.8 in and weighs 18.5 lb.

Rich Solar also sells the NOVA SUPERCHARGER 2K (RS-V2P12C, 2,000 W, 80 A charger) at $649.99.
