LiTime is the brand of Shenzhen Ampere Time Digital Energy Technology, founded in 2018 and renamed from Ampere Time in December 2022.
It sells direct from litime.com, which ships US orders from warehouses in Los Angeles and Dallas, and through its Amazon store and Walmart's marketplace.
The LiTime L12V1KW-Z is a 12 V pure sine wave inverter rated 1,000 W continuous and 2,000 W peak surge, with 120 V AC (±10%) output at 60 Hz and waveform distortion of 5 percent or less by the product page. LiTime's spec table gives an input range of 10.0 V to 16 V, low-voltage protection at 10.0 V, over-voltage protection at 15.5 V, 91 percent efficiency and no-load draw under 8 W; its manual gives 10.5 V to 16.0 V, protection at 10.5 V and 16.0 V and efficiency of at least 90 percent, and says 85 percent is the usual conversion efficiency in normal use. The AC side has three outlets, a 5 V 2.4 A USB-A port and a USB-C port (5 V 3 A, 9 V 2 A, 12 V 1.5 A); the DC side has the battery terminals, a ground terminal, the remote port and thermally controlled cooling fans. It measures 10.71 x 6.24 x 4.02 in with its mounting feet (9.55 x 6.24 x 3.94 in without), weighs 5.14 lb and runs from -4°F to 104°F. The box holds two 1.64 ft (50 cm) battery cables with M8 lugs for the battery end, a 3.28 ft (1 m) ground cable, the wired LCD remote with a 14.76 ft (4.5 m) cable and two mounting brackets, and mounting screws and anchors; the manual recommends 16 mm² (about 5 AWG) battery cable. The remote shows battery voltage and remaining capacity, output power and voltage, frequency, temperature and error codes. It has no hardwire AC terminals, GFCI, search mode or transfer switch. LiTime gives it a 2-year warranty from purchase.
