RedditBrand-level6.0 out of 10

No Reddit owner report names this model, so the pool reads Jackery generally, where it is mixed. In r/Jackery's December 2024 thread asking owners about regrets, about 17 were satisfied against about 12 complaints, mostly overpriced panels and proprietary 8 mm solar ports, slow support and a few units dead on arrival. The top answer in an April 2025 r/preppers thread, from an owner of five units, called them easy to use and durable and the panels overpriced, while two owners reported failed ports or problems with larger units.

GoogleBrand-level7.0 out of 10

No independent written test of this model was found, so the pool reads Jackery generally. CNET's labs manager, who has tested the brand since 2018, called it one of the most consistent power-station brands and found its usable capacity about 5 percent below competitors' on average (August 2024). OutdoorGearLab, which buys its test units, ranks the Explorer 2000 v2 first of 14 power stations.

YouTubeBrand-level6.0 out of 10

No independent video tests this model, and most current Jackery videos carry Jackery promotion copy or discount codes. ColoradoRMN, who paid for his Explorer 1000 v2, drew 920 Wh from it with 11 percent left (December 2024). A UK van couple who bought three Explorer 1000s in 2025 returned two for fault codes and found the third arrived discharged.

AmazonProduct-line8.0 out of 10

The 1000 Plus v2's own Amazon listings carry 6 ratings between them, under the floor, so the pool reads the HomePower Plus v2 line, which shares its expansion packs. The HomePower 2000 Plus v2's station-alone listing reads 5.0 from 15 and its bundle with two 200 W panels 4.3 from 9, so the line's Amazon listings read about 4.8 from 30 ratings.
