The EG4 12000XP V2, model IV-15000-XP-IN-01 (EG4 SKU EG4INV12KXPV2US), is a 48 V all-in-one off-grid inverter charger rated 12,000 W continuous from battery alone and 15,000 W at 240 V with solar input as well (62.5 A at 240 V; the battery circuit alone supports 12,000 W, by EG4's 15 kW app note), at 120/240 V split phase or 208 V, with a peak of 15,360 W for about 10 seconds on battery, a 195 A locked-rotor rating and a switching time under 10 ms for one unit or under 20 ms in parallel. The spec sheet rates battery-to-load efficiency at 90.2% and PV-to-load at 93.5%, with standby draw under 70 W; it publishes no no-load draw while inverting. Solar input is two MPPT trackers with two strings each, 35 A per tracker, a 100-480 VDC input range (500 V absolute maximum), a 120-385 VDC MPPT range, 24,000 W utilized and 28,000 W the recommended maximum array. AC input is 120/240 or 120/208 V with a 100 A grid bypass, a 90 A generator bypass and 62.5 A of continuous generator input, plus a smart load port for load shedding or AC coupling and rapid-shutdown terminals. It runs a 48 V lead-acid or lithium battery (over 400 Ah recommended) at up to 250 A and 12,000 W of charge or discharge, with AC charging set from 0 to 100 A and generator charging from 0 to 250 A, and RS485, CAN and Wi-Fi communication, closed-loop with EG4 and listed batteries. Up to 16 units run in parallel. It measures 34.25 x 20.87 x 5.91 in (870 x 530 x 150 mm), weighs 104.7 lb (47.5 kg), runs from 32 to 113 °F at under 60 dB, and is IP20 for indoor installation. In the box: the inverter, a Wi-Fi dongle, wall-mounting bracket and template, expansion bolts and screws, a 2 m battery communication cable and a 2 m parallel cable. EG4 sells it through its sister company Signature Solar.
