What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMEGA 2.0
Two owner events on r/redlighttherapy name the MitoMEGA 2.0.
In May 2024 one owner's panel started flashing about a month after purchase, and in a December 2025 update the owner said Mito sent a new unit after an emailed video and did not ask for the old one back.
In February 2026 a poster whose panel, won in a charity auction, would not turn on said Mito offered only a 10 percent discount on a new one; that account posted the same text twice and pointed readers to competing brands, so it is weak evidence.
HoogaBlaze
Reddit's Hooga threads are mostly about support, and most posters report it well.
In a December 2025 r/redlighttherapy thread with about 100 upvotes, a buyer whose new stand did not fit his ULTRA750 was sent a new panel and a free return label nearly a year after purchase, and eight commenters added similar stories, including a replaced mask and a panel with loose screws.
A February 2026 poster had a two-year-old HG300 bought on Amazon replaced under warranty.
Against that, one buyer said Hooga shipped through Amazon Logistics and then refused to help, in a condescending tone, after the driver damaged his property.
Two posters said emails about changing an order or a pre-sale question went unanswered, several dislike the AI agent that answers first, and two reported a remote or controller failing.
Some commenters suspect the praise is planted; none showed evidence of it.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMEGA 2.0
Written coverage of the MitoMEGA 2.0 is affiliate desk work and none publishes its own measurement.
RedLightTested (March 2026, Amazon affiliate) gives it 8.2 of 10 and says it tested with a solar meter, but prints only Mito's figure and the MitoMAX 2.0's price.
Across these reviews the pluses are the 36 x 12 in coverage and Mito's published output figures, and the minuses are the 25 lb weight, no included stand and only two wavelengths at the price; two sites give the warranty as 3 years or lifetime where Mito states 2.
HoogaBlaze
Two written reviews assess Hooga as a company, and three more test single panels.
Light Therapy Insiders earns commission on its Hooga link, and Hooga sent its units free.
Its July 2026 review called Hooga the value pick, with build that does not feel cheap, but faulted support with no phone line or live chat, power figures taken with a solar meter and no published lab reports; that last finding was later edited out of the article.
Wareable, which earns commission on its Hooga links, rated the HG300 4.0 out of 5 in April 2026 as basic and warm, with no glasses in the box.
In August 2026 it found the PRO300, bought from Hooga, good value but warm in long sessions.
Marco Gentile, whose Hooga link earns commission, scored the PRO4500 3.2 out of 5 for its missing dimmer and stands sold separately.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoMEGA 2.0
The two clips naming the MitoMEGA 2.0 are scripted, low-view Amazon-affiliate narrations that do not show the panel in use, so they carry no evidence.
Among its siblings, Klau99 Reviews (August 2024, Amazon and AliExpress affiliate links) shows the MitoMAX 2.0 after two to three weeks with the door-hanging kit and adjustable timer, and Doing Light Therapy at Home (January 2023; unit sent free by Mito, affiliate code) walks through the MitoMIN 2.0's modes and timer.
No video measures output, heat or noise on any 2.0 panel.
HoogaBlaze
Light Therapy Insiders' Alex Fergus has covered Hooga in more than ten videos since 2022.
Every description carries his Hooga link with a 10 to 12 percent discount, Hooga sent the units free, and at least five videos from March 2024 on carry YouTube's paid-promotion label.
His July 2026 company review (about 4,700 views) found the build sound for the price and called Hooga his usual budget recommendation.
He faulted email-only support, solar-meter power figures, the lack of lab reports and costly international shipping, and said Hooga has at times switched off his commissions.
His April 2026 series comparison put the HG300, PRO300 and ULTRA360 at about 50 to 60 mW/cm2.
The few other channels covering Hooga post short Amazon-affiliate overviews.
