What they say
Mito Red LightMitoADAPT MAX 4.0
No Reddit owner report names the MAX 4.0.
One MitoADAPT 4.0 owner who does not give the size (November 2025 to January 2026) uses about six of the 11 modes, values that the near-infrared-only mode runs near full wall power, and points to the high-static-pressure fans.
An owner of the earlier MitoADAPT MAX 3.0 (January 2023) was satisfied and said MAX panels are smaller than MitoPRO panels.
The other threads are pre-purchase questions, and one shopper bought a Rouge G4 instead for its 1064 nm band.
iRestoreApex Pro 1500
No owner of either Apex panel has reported using one on Reddit.
The one thread, an r/redlighttherapy launch post (April 2026, 28 comments), is buyers' discussion before specifications were out: commenters doubt that eight wavelengths on single-chip LEDs leave enough LEDs on each band and question the evidence for 590 and 1060 nm, while the 10-year warranty is called the brand's main strength.
The one commenter who received a panel reported only that it arrived in two boxes.

Both readings are about these exact models.
What they say
Mito Red LightMitoADAPT MAX 4.0
Two monetized testers measured the MAX 4.0.
Light Therapy Insiders (March 2026; gifted unit, affiliate commission) found all eight peaks with the amber at 599 nm rather than 590, measured 74 mW/cm2 peak and 58 average over nine points, placed it mid-pack on output for its price, and rated the build and manual solid but the touchscreen cramped with modes unlabeled on the device.
Light Therapy Reviews (John DeLuca, May 2026; Mito affiliate link) measured 55.1 average and 65.1 peak at 6 inches on a thermopile, plus 44.6 dB of fan noise.
Both sit far below Mito's more than 140 and close to its own lab figure.
iRestoreApex Pro 1500
No review of the Apex panels publishes its own measurements or describes use beyond the specification sheet: RedLightTested, an unsigned Amazon affiliate site, ranks the Apex 1500 its best full-body panel and says it tested it, but cites only iRestore's stated figures.
Red Light Therapy Top 10 (September 2026), an affiliate site working from the specification sheet, notes that the brand's figure of more than 200 mW/cm2 at 6 inches names no measuring instrument and that no per-wavelength LED split is published, and it counts the 10-year warranty and 60-day trial without a restocking fee in the panels' favour.
Esquire's May 2026 launch piece, which carries affiliate links, is an early-access sale rather than a test.

What they say

Two independent videos cover the MAX 4.0.
The BIOHACK Channel (October 2025, about 14,000 views, Mito affiliate link) shows a metal door hook, cables and two sets of eyewear in the box, reads EMF near zero at 6 inches, confirms all eight peaks on a spectrometer, measures 44.6 dB of fan noise, a few dB above the MitoPRO 1500X, and wall draw from 216 to 480 W by mode.
Alex Fergus of Light Therapy Insiders (March 2026; gifted unit, affiliate links, YouTube paid-promotion label) calls the output low for the price and the near-infrared pulsing limited to 10 Hz, and points buyers to PlatinumLED and Rouge panels, which he also earns from.
iRestoreApex Pro 1500
No video reviews either Apex panel, and there is no independent video of any iRestore panel: YouTube searches for the Apex 1500 and 2160, together and by name, returned none.
Independent iRestore videos are all about its hair helmets: JesseDriftwood (July 2021, 200,213 views), who bought the Professional himself and turned down payment from the brand, calls it cheap-feeling plastic with a harsh beep, while Cassandra Bankson (March 2024, 64,583 views), who earns commission on tagged products, and Cybernews (March 2026, 13,927 views), which sells the Elite through an affiliate link, find the Elite comfortable and easy to keep up.

Mito sells only its two-wavelength 2.0 panels on Amazon US, through its own Mito Red Light Official store; no MitoPRO X, MitoPRO+ or MitoADAPT panel has a rated listing there, and a MitoPRO+ listing added in June 2026 has no ratings.
The MitoMIN 2.0 holds 4.5 from 170 ratings, split 78 percent five-star against 3 percent one-star, and Amazon tags its quality in 30 reviews, 29 of them positive.
The MitoMID 2.0 holds 4.6 from 61 and the MitoMEGA 2.0 4.9 from 19.
Those are simpler 660 and 850 nm panels, so the figures describe the brand rather than this series.
iRestoreApex Pro 1500
Both Apex panels share one Amazon US listing, sold by iRestore, which holds 3 ratings, too few to score. iRestore's most-rated device on Amazon US is the Essential hair-growth cap, at 4.0 from 3,511 ratings, split 60 percent five-star against 13 percent one-star.
Amazon's review summary tags its value for money 229 times, 122 negative.
