- One Reddit owner names the Elite: in r/redlighttherapy's 12-comment thread "Kala Red Light Therapy - Scam Company" (February 2024), a buyer with no tie said the panel was backordered and shipped about a week after the rest of the order, and that everything arrived fully functional.
- The only thread asking about the Elite by name (May 2026, 3 comments) holds no owner.
Bon Charge Super Max

- Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester who links to Kala through an affiliate link, put the Elite third of 17 panels on spectrometer output in a comparison first published in February 2024 and updated in July 2026, but 16th on extras and 14th overall, which he called disappointing given Kala's marketing: the hanging wires snapped during setup, the cable is short and the LED clusters leave gaps in the light.
- Marco Gentile, a market-wide reviewer whose page carries Kala code MARCOGENTILE, rated the Elite Duo, two Elites sold as a set, 3.2 of 5 in December 2025, crediting the price, remote and functions and faulting the lack of dimming and the single-chip LEDs.
Bon Charge Super Max

- Red Light Therapy by Alex Fergus, a market-wide channel whose description carries Kala's affiliate link beside PlatinumLED, Rouge and Hooga links, and who says on camera he is affiliated with Kala, tested the Elite in a 20-minute video (July 2024, 7,006 views).
- He measured 84.2 mW/cm2 average and 91 peak at 6 inches against Kala's claimed 161, peaks at 660 and 855 nm and 52.5 dB, and called the panel decent but said better options exist.
- Both hanging cables snapped during his setup, and he found the side control panel confusing, with no countdown timer and a default of near-infrared only.
Bon Charge Super Max
- No video shows the Super Max in use outside Bon Charge's own channel.
- Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester whose description carries Bon Charge code ALEX, reviewed the first-generation Max, then sold as the BLUblox Hive Max, in January 2022 after a period of use: he liked the price, the light weight, the dual-chip LEDs and the simple controls, objected to the 1-year warranty, a missing printed manual, a 60 dB fan and low output for the money, and said he would not recommend it.

- Costco.com sells the Elite online (item 2062084, model EL-001, $799.99) with 3.9 stars from 11 member reviews: 4 five-star, 4 four-star, 2 three-star, none two-star and 1 one-star.
- Seven carry text and four are ratings only, all posted from July to September 2026 with no syndication or incentive badge, and 7 of 9 reviewers recommend it.
- Owners liked the price against comparable panels and Kala's phone support; two returned it, one because it is narrow and has no stand (Kala's costs about $750) and one because the over-door hanger felt flimsy for a 30 lb panel.
- Others reported a remote with no battery, poor instructions and a chemical smell on opening.
