Usability
When iron, sulfur or bacteria exceed what the WS air-injection system is rated for, chlorine injection is the next step, and the 35 gallon retention tank is what makes it work by giving the chlorine time to react. At 30 GPM it is the highest-flow system SpringWell makes. The catch is that it is a chemical dosing system: you are topping up chlorine solution rather than swapping a cartridge, and you will normally need a filter after it to remove what it oxidises.

The SpringWell Chemical Injection System doses chlorine into well water ahead of a 35 gallon retention tank, giving the chlorine contact time to oxidise iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide and to kill bacteria. It handles contamination loads beyond what the air-injection WS system can manage.
Service flow is 30 GPM, the highest figure SpringWell publishes on any system, across one to seven bathrooms on a 1 inch connection at 10 to 150 psi. The retention tank measures 18 inches wide by 33 inches tall.
Maintenance is replenishing the chlorine and water mix rather than changing filters. This is the heaviest-duty well treatment SpringWell sells and normally sits ahead of a filter that removes the oxidised material and residual chlorine.
