RedditProduct-line6.0 out of 10

Owner reports on Reddit about Renogy's flexible panels are few; one r/SolarDIY owner said flexible Renogy panels trimmed to fit a van roof still worked after about 2 years (January 2025).

GoogleProduct-line3.0 out of 10

Forum owners of Renogy's DB-H flexible line report delamination. On iRV2 an owner's 160 W panel from the same line delaminated and let water in under 4 months after it was glued to an RV roof, and Amazon, not Renogy, replaced it (July 2019). On DIY Solar Forum an owner of eight 160 W panels found one delaminating after almost 5 years and 50,000 miles and opened a warranty ticket (February 2023).

YouTubeBrand-level6.0 out of 10

Both channels found carry a tie to the panels they review. Freedom in a Can, which passes on a 10 percent Renogy code through Renogy's affiliate link, found no delamination on two 100 W flexible panels after 9 months and 9,000 miles. Johnny's Weekends, which earns Amazon commission on the panels it links, found Renogy's 200 W flexible panel performed well but trailed a CIGS panel under shade (2023, about 128,000 views).

AmazonProduct-line7.0 out of 10

Renogy's 100W-Black/White flexible listing on Amazon US (B07BMNGVV3) reads 4.4 from 967 ratings, 72 percent five-star and 6 percent one-star, but its specification block describes an earlier 48 by 21.5 in, 4 lb generation rather than the current 43.0 by 22.9 in, 5.3 lb panel. Amazon's review summary reports mixed power output, with 16 of 48 tagged reviews negative and one owner seeing 52 W at most in full sun, and mixed durability, 7 of 22 negative.
