It makes sense for a home with older galvanised pipe shedding particles and no chlorine complaint, and almost nowhere else. NuvoH2O does not publish a micron rating for the sediment cartridge, which is the single number that would tell a buyer whether it is a coarse guard or a fine polish. The conditioning cartridge chelates hardness rather than removing it, so this system will not change a hardness reading. There is no certifier listing and no published service flow rate. The trade here is a very narrow benefit at the same price as a broader configuration, and most buyers would be better served by the taste filter build.
