MegelinHandheld Red Light Therapy Torch

Reddit holds no owner account of the torch. Megelin is discussed on Reddit mostly through its LED masks and its orders. The largest thread, a November 2023 r/redlighttherapy post titled "Megelin" (150 comments, replies to September 2026), opens on a mask its owner found uncomfortable and cheaply made and a return to a private address that refunded most but not all of the price; commenters add masks smelling strongly of plastic, units that stopped working within two weeks to three months, and restocking fees of 20 percent on an opened box and 10 percent on a sealed one. Two later threads titled "Megelin is a scam" (July 2024, 28 comments; December 2024, 32 comments) add a belt that failed after two uses with a $174 exchange fee quoted, refunds of about 60 and 80 percent, and a full refund offered for a review changed to five stars. Other owners in the same threads report masks, bags and mats used for months without fault and quick replacements, and posters note that several positive replies come from accounts with no other history. The coverage is of Megelin's masks, bags and service, not of the torch.

No written test of the torch has been published. Independent written coverage of Megelin is of its masks and its full-body bag, and each piece earns on Megelin links. Wareable (Emilija Kilimaitė, May 2026) used the 288-LED face mask for two months and liked the Velcro straps and about 2 hours per charge, and found the silicone sticky and the mask at times warmer than expected. Reviewed (Hannah Emerson, July 2026), which earns through Skimlinks, liked the Duo-Lux mask's fit and faulted the missing eye protection and a USB-A cord with no adapter. Wareable's August 2026 test of the LASER&LED bag (Austėja Zokaitė-Gaižauskė) found it sturdy and simple to run without an app, and heavy at about 20 lb. None of them tests a handheld device.

No video tests the torch. Its one video is a user guide on Megelin's own channel, which counts in no pool. Megelin's video coverage is of its masks and its full-body bag, and nearly all of it is gifted or carries Megelin codes. The Lipstick Gal (September 2024), on a face-and-neck set Megelin sent in PR, found the straps easy to fit but saw strap stitching come loose and a row of lights fail over ten weeks. Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus, September 2025), on a laser mask Megelin sent free and under his code ALEX beside codes for most of the market, scored it 62 of 100 and faulted its coverage and warranty terms. Beauty Beyond 40 (Trina Albus, February 2025, about 21,000 views), sponsored by Megelin with a ShopMy link and the code TRINA5, found the full-body bag easy to set up, about 20 lb and hot above level three. None of them shows a handheld device.

The torch's own Amazon listing (ASIN B0CX4TSZT4) is unavailable with no offer and holds a single one-star rating, too few to score: a verified buyer (April 2025) received it with a damaged battery case, found one intensity setting and batteries that must be charged outside the torch, and preferred a Hooga torch. Megelin's rated Amazon files are of other devices: the face-and-neck mask (B0CPY3NKWB, with its black twin) holds 4.6 from 572 ratings, 82 percent five-star against 4 percent one-star; the face mask 4.5 from 373; the U-shaped LED machine 4.4 from 265; the full-body bag 4.3 from 59; and two belts, the ContourLux 4.2 from 19 and the Belt Plus 4.2 from 17. None of them is of a handheld device, so they count a point lower here.
