HoogaULTRA4500 Red Light Therapy Panel

One owner names the ULTRA4500 on Reddit. In a July 2025 r/redlighttherapy thread weighing the Pro 1500 against the Ultra 1500, the owner wrote that they loved their ULTRA4500 and used it every day, and said again in September 2025 that it was in daily use; the owner gave no detail on build, fan noise, heat or controls. A shopper in the same thread was still choosing between the ULTRA4500 and the Pro line. In March 2026 an ULTRA1500 owner who found that 39.5-inch panel covered only from the waist up, with less light on the shoulders and arms, named the ULTRA4500's 61-by-16-inch face as the size being considered for full-body use. No failure, support or return report names the ULTRA4500.

The nearest written tests are Light Therapy Insiders' reviews of two ULTRA siblings. Alex Fergus, who earns commission through a Hooga discount link and code that he carries alongside codes for rival brands, measured the ULTRA1500 (May 2024) at 81.7 mW/cm2 average and 104 peak at 6 inches on a spectrometer against Hooga's 165, with 139 W of total light and 0.2 µT of EMF. He called it quiet and better value than the Pro 1500, and faulted its 9-inch width and the sharp drop in output toward the edges. On the ULTRA360 (February 2025), a unit Hooga sent him free, he read 60 average and 74 peak against Hooga's 132, with 44.5 dB and 0.22 µT, and faulted a stiff stand that left marks. Both units had the older button controller, not the touchscreen the ULTRA4500 ships with.

The nearest tests are Alex Fergus's. His ULTRA1500 review (May 2024, about 13,000 views), made with a Hooga commission and code that he discloses on camera, measured 139 W of total light on a spectrometer, praised the quiet running, control panel and pulsing, and faulted the narrow 9-inch face, a high cable entry and the cost of international shipping. His ULTRA360 video, of a unit Hooga sent him with a Hooga code, faulted the stiff stand and stepped dimming. His April 2026 comparison, labelled as paid promotion, put the 900-LED Ultra at about $4,200 and chose the PRO4500 as the full-body pick.

Hooga Health's own Amazon listing for the ULTRA4500 (first available June 23, 2026, $3,499, sold and shipped by Hooga Health) has no ratings, which is under the 10-rating floor. It sits in a size family with three ULTRA siblings, but each sibling keeps its own review file, so none of those ratings belong to the ULTRA4500. The nearest sibling, the ULTRA1500, reads 4.1 from 15 ratings and the split runs to both ends: 71 percent five-star and 20 percent one-star, with no two- or three-star ratings. The ULTRA750 reads 4.5 from 15 (67, 21 and 12 percent at five, four and three stars). The ULTRA360 reads 4.6 from 181 (82 percent five-star, 3 percent one-star), and Amazon tags brightness in 43 of its reviews, value for money in 17, build quality in 13 and ease of use in 11, with adjustability mixed in 6.
