Usability Score
One Wavelength, Three Minutes, Rated Above Its Filing

The Glotech Lip Wand is a pen-sized handheld with two dual-chip LEDs at 1072 nm and a 3-minute timer. FDA's database lists it, as an LED Esthetics pen, under K222205, a 510(k) filed by Light Tree Ventures Europe for a Kaiyan device (October 2022), model QPZ-01, with two LEDs at 1072 nm, a 3-minute cycle and a lithium battery, so it scores 7 on verification; LED Esthetics rates the wand at 20 to 65 mW/cm2 where that filing gives a maximum of 20, and Intertek's directory carries no listing. No measurement exists, so light output is not scored, and a spot device scores the floor for coverage. No owner, tester or video covers it. It is $279 on ledesthetics.com, cut to $223.20 by an automatic discount in the cart, and is not sold on Amazon.

Brand-level

Glotech is the LED device line of LED Esthetics, the trading name of JK Supply LLC of Farmington Hills, Michigan, which owns the GLOTECH trademark; the company's site also names JK Supply PR LLC in San Juan, Puerto Rico. FDA lists every Glotech device under Shenzhen Kaiyan Medical Equipment of Shenzhen, China, its maker, and LED Esthetics holds no FDA registration or 510(k) of its own. Glotech sells through ledesthetics.com, an Amazon store carrying only the Mask Pro, spas and clinics, and television deal segments. It holds 4.7 from 98 Trustpilot reviews, 94 percent five-star against 6 percent one-star, with 87 posted in the last 12 months; it claimed the profile in November 2023, Trustpilot records no recent invitations from it, and it has replied to 75 percent of negative reviews. Recent reviews describe masks, battery packs and a Hair Pro panel that stopped working and were replaced by its support team. The BBB rates the company A+, not accredited, with 1 complaint closed in three years. FDA's recall and adverse-event databases hold no entry for any Glotech device, and no federal suit names the company. LED Esthetics pays creators through an affiliate programme and discount codes, and the review widget on ledesthetics.com, one file shared across several products, counts in no pool. Its warranty policy gives every Glotech device a 1-year limited warranty. Its returns page offers a 30-day risk-free trial, 6 months on the Hair Pro and 14 days on purchases made through TV and flash sales, while its refund policy deducts $15 for return shipping and processing and refuses an opened Lip Wand. No US retailer with its own review file sells a Glotech device, so the retailer pool is blank, and the only videos of Glotech devices are LED Esthetics' own or come from creators paid by a competitor, so the YouTube pool is blank too. On this row three pools are populated, all at brand level, because no owner, tester or video covers the Lip Wand; each reads Glotech's masks, collar and service, a point lower.
