The Epoch 24230A-H is the Essential Series 24V 230Ah, a 25.6 V, 230 Ah LiFePO4 deep-cycle battery storing 5,888 Wh in prismatic cells wired 8S1P. It is rated 200 A continuous charge and discharge, with a 300 A peak for up to 10 seconds and 115 A (0.5C) recommended.
Below 0°C (32°F) charging stops and internal heating pads run on incoming charge current from a charger supplying at least 0.5 A; charging resumes at 5°C (41°F). Epoch rates charging at −20 to 55°C with heating and discharge at −20 to 60°C.
Bluetooth links it to the Epoch Li-Ion app through a shunt built into the BMS, accurate to 0.2 A on discharge. It measures 20.55 x 9.45 x 8.60 in, a BCI Group 8D footprint, weighs 84 lb and has M8 female terminals in an IP54 case.
Epoch does not approve series connection; its planning examples run to four in parallel (920 Ah), with the maximum to be confirmed with Epoch. Epoch rates it for 4,000+ cycles and gives it an 11-year limited warranty.
