The Epoch 12314-ECO is a 12.8 V, 314 Ah LiFePO4 battery in the Eco Series, storing 4.02 kWh (4,019 Wh) in a BCI Group 31 case with four prismatic cells in series (4S1P). Its BMS is rated at 250 A continuous discharge and 250 A continuous charge, with 750 A for up to 5 seconds and up to 157 A recommended for charging.

It has no heater and no Bluetooth: the BMS blocks charging below 0°C, allows discharge down to −20°C and reconnects after high temperature at 50°C. Epoch suggests an external shunt monitor such as the Victron SmartShunt it sells for app monitoring.

Up to four run in series for a 48 V class bank and up to sixteen in parallel, to 4S16P. The IP54 case is an ABS and PC blend with a UL94-V0 flame rating, measures 13.75 x 7.63 x 10 in (15.5 in at the rope handles, 10.5 in high with terminal bolts), has M8 female terminals and weighs 57 lb (25.85 kg).

Epoch rates it for more than 4,500 cycles, says it is not a cranking battery and sells a matching tray.
