Usability
The Crown only makes sense if you actually intend to populate it. Eight elements and 26 gallons per hour is genuinely group-scale, but it ships with two, and the additional elements that would get you there are the ones currently unavailable industry-wide. Bought today it is a 6-gallon reservoir running at roughly a quarter of its rated throughput.

- Very heavy when the lower chamber is full and not practical to move
- Priming eight elements is a substantial job
The Crown Berkey is the largest system in the range: 6 gallons of storage across two AISI 304 stainless chambers, filtering by gravity with no electricity, plumbing or line pressure.
It ships with two Black Berkey elements and accepts up to eight, which is where its headline 26 gallons per hour comes from. Up to eight PF-2 elements can be fitted below for fluoride and arsenic reduction.
At 30 in. tall and 11 in. across it is a floor-standing or utility-room appliance rather than a countertop one, and it is sized for four to twelve people, offices, churches and group preparedness use.
