The BLUETTI D40 is a 12 V on-board charger rated at 400 W and up to 30 A that fills an RV or boat house battery from a vehicle's starter battery, from solar panels or from a BLUETTI AC200L's 48 V DC port. Its PV / ENGINE input takes 12 to 36 V at up to 20 A, and BLUETTI's manual says it has MPPT built in for solar.
From a starter battery it switches on at 11.7 V or higher once the input source is set to the starter battery with its button. From a BLUETTI station output is limited to 20 A, and in Load Mode it powers 12 V appliances at 20 A from the station.
It charges LiFePO4 and lead-acid to 14.4 V, AGM and gel to 14.7 V and calcium to 15.4 V, for house batteries over 100 Ah. It measures 9.2 x 7.1 x 2.7 in, weighs about 4.4 lb, is rated IP20, works from -4 to 113 °F and makes up to 43 dB.
BLUETTI's page lists input-to-output isolation and house and starter battery protection. In the box are the D40, Anderson connectors, a DC input cable for a station's RV port, a 3 m or 5 m connection cable, mounting screws and the manual. BLUETTI's page gives it a 1-year warranty.
