Usability
The WS4 buys flow rate and nothing else: 20 GPM against the WS1's 12, with identical contaminant ceilings. For $425 more that is reasonable if you have four or more bathrooms, and it keeps the 1 inch connection so the plumbing does not change. If your well exceeds 7 ppm iron the bigger tank will not help, and that is the mistake worth avoiding here.

The SpringWell WS4 is the larger air injection oxidation system for private wells, rated at 20 GPM service flow for homes with four or more bathrooms. Contaminant handling matches the WS1 at up to 7 ppm iron, 1 ppm manganese and 8 ppm hydrogen sulfide; what changes is throughput and tank size.
The tank is 13 inches wide against the WS1's 10, at the same 54 inch height, 64 with the head, on a 1 inch connection. Unlike the CF+ on the city water side, the WS4 keeps the 1 inch connection, so the plumbing is unchanged from the smaller model.
Maintenance is the same daily backwash with no chemicals and no cartridges. A complete well water test remains the prerequisite, since the contaminant ceilings are identical to the WS1.
