Usability
The WS-7000 is the system most well owners looking at Kind actually need, because it is one of only two in the range with published tolerance for the contaminants that define well water. Its strongest attribute is that operating envelope: 7 mg/L iron, 1 mg/L hydrogen sulphide and 1 mg/L manganese, addressed by air-injection oxidation with no chemical feed, no pump and no solution tank to refill. Behind it sits an NSF/ANSI 42 certified backwashing carbon bed and salt-free conditioning to 75 grains per gallon, so staining, odour, chlorine and scale are all covered in one pass. The Smart View Meter reports flow and usage live. The weakest attribute is price. At over five thousand one hundred dollars at list this is Kind's most expensive non-UV system and roughly double the WS-6000, and the salt-free conditioning stage still does not remove hardness, so a house with very hard water gets scale control rather than soft water. Certification beyond the carbon bed remains NSF/ANSI 61 and 372, both materials listings. The assembly is 48 inches wide and floor-standing, and air injection requires periodic backwash to drain. The trade is cost and true softening for the widest well-water capability Kind sells without chemicals.
- Rated for 7 mg/L iron, 1 mg/L hydrogen sulphide and 1 mg/L manganese, unlike most of the range
- Air-injection oxidation with no chemical feed, no dosing pump and no solution tank
- NSF/ANSI 42 certified backwashing carbon bed for chlorine, taste and odour
- Salt-free conditioning to 75 grains per gallon with no salt or brine discharge
- Smart View Meter reporting live flow rate and usage
- Lifetime limited warranty plus a 120-day satisfaction guarantee
- Kind's most expensive non-UV system at over five thousand dollars at list, roughly double the WS-6000
- Conditioning does not remove hardness, so post-install hardness tests read unchanged
- Certification outside the carbon bed is NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 only, both materials listings
- 48 inches wide and floor-standing, needing a drain connection for backwash
- Media service life for the oxidation and carbon beds is not published
The WS-7000 is Kind's heavy-duty well system, combining sediment, air-injection iron oxidation, a backwashing carbon bed and salt-free conditioning across a 53 by 48 by 15 inch assembly. It is one of only two systems in the range rated for problem well chemistry, handling up to 7 mg/L iron, 1 mg/L hydrogen sulphide and 1 mg/L manganese at a pH of 6.5 to 9.5. Flow is 12 GPM on 1 in MNPT, hardness tolerance is 75 grains per gallon, and the Smart View Meter reports live status.
